1. What is Humo Con Sazón?
Humo Con Sazón is a fire-grilled protein meal service inspired by the bold, smoky flavors of Latino America. We grill everything over mesquite + mesquite lump charcoal on a traditional Santa Maria grill, then vacuum-seal each pack for freshness. Homemade sazón meets modern convenience.
2. How do I place an order?
Pre-orders are live on our Pre-Order Page. Just choose your protein, pick your flavor Sazón or Mojo, select your pounds (5 lb minimum), and you’re locked in.
3. What proteins do you offer?
Right now, we offer halal, hormone-free chicken breast and thighs.
Coming soon: grass-fed beef (New Zealand-sourced, halal) and shrimp.
4. What makes Humo Con Sazón different?
Actual mesquite charcoal. Signature sazón and sauces. We don’t bake, boil, or shortcut anything. Everything is grilled the old-school way, made for today’s lifestyle.
Storage + Reheating
5. Are the proteins already cooked?
Yes fully cooked grilled over mesquite, then vacuum-sealed and frozen fresh. Just reheat and serve however you like.
6. How long do the protein packs last?
Vacuum-sealed, our packs can last up to 6 months in the freezer. For the best flavor, we recommend eating them within 2–3 weeks (and no more than 3 months).
7. How do I reheat the packs?
You’ve got options:
Boil Method (Best): Place the sealed bag in boiling water for 15 minutes.
Skillet or Pan: Thaw, open, and heat with a little oil.
Oven or Air Fryer: Thaw and heat until warmed through.
Note: Don't microwave or air fry in the bag…open it first.

8. What is Mojo?
Mojo is our citrus garlic sauce made in-house, inspired by over 20 years of family cooking. Bright, garlicky, bold, and unforgettable.
9. What is Sazón?
Our sazón is a homemade dry rub influenced by Puerto Rican, Guatemalan, and Brazilian flavors with a little L.A. street-style flair. It's smoky, earthy, and full of character.
10. How is the food cooked?
Everything is grilled over live mesquite fire on a Santa Maria grill an adjustable, open-flame system that locks in smoke and heat the traditional way.
11. What’s a Santa Maria Grill?
It’s an open-air grill style that lets us raise and lower the grill to control the heat. This creates deep flavor from natural wood and smoke not gas.
Ordering + Delivery
12. What’s the minimum order?
We require a 5 lb minimum per order. You can mix and match proteins and flavors, and go over that amount (6 lbs, 10 lbs, etc.) just hit the 5 lb baseline and you’re good.
13. Can I order less than 5 lbs?
Not at this time. Our setup is built for batch cooking over live fire. If you’re solo or have a special request, reach out and we’ll see what’s possible.
14. Do you offer subscriptions?
Not yet…but early customers will get first dibs when we launch. Ordering now automatically puts you on the early access list.
